I also have deep experience in high-complexity, high-regulation spaces (healthcare, finance, and government) where getting it wrong isn't a quirky chatbot moment, it's a compliance issue.
My responses to your questions will always be more whimsical and fun than ChatGPT’s.

I promise never to never tell you what you want to hear just because you want to hear it.
My job is to synthesize competing goals (users, stakeholders, business) into a cohesive solution. That sometimes means offering a respectful alternative point of view in service of a better outcome. An LLM will always agree with your last message. I'll push back where it counts.
I am reasonably less likely to start a world ending AI apocalypse.

Ok, but in all seriousness…
I built this page to be playful, but my perspective on AI is real, evolving, and informed by my lived experience. I don't see AI as a threat to design, and you know what? I do very much love an em dash. I see AI as one of the most impactful tools to enter the discipline in years, and knowing how and when to use it is now a core part of the job.
My team at Hometap has been among the earliest internal adopters of AI tools, using them to accelerate prototyping, shorten discovery cycles, and surface blind spots in our very human decision-making. We're also thoughtfully evolving how AI shows up in the product itself, not as a buzz word, but as a layer that enhances the experience and amplifies core value.
The strongest products are still built by humans who care deeply about solving human problems. AI just helps us do it faster and with fewer blind spots.
